C&N's performance of Joel Rafael's song, "This Is My Country," is featured in the Barry Levinson documentary, "Poliwood".

PoliwoodThe song was performed by Graham Nash and David Crosby in Denver during the Democratic Convention last fall, and was filmed by Levinson for the movie. Crosby and Nash performed "This Is My Country" on their 2008 fall tour, and invited Rafael to perform it with them at last year's Seva Benefit at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA. They also performed the song on much of the CSN tour earlier in the summer of 2008, and at a number of Obama rallies. "Poliwood" will make its television debut on Showtime today, November 2nd, with additional airings later on. Please check your local guide for regional times.

Crosby and Nash rocked a "very, very, very fine house" of nearly 1,000 at the Shea Center Auditorium Oct. 11.

Graham Nash wore a blue shirt and black pants. David Crosby wore a black shirt and blue plants. Nash walked barefoot on the stage covered with oriental carpets. Crosby sported a long gray beard, and their voices composed the pleasing harmony for which the audience clapped and cheered.

Seva Foundation's 30th Anniversary

The Seva Foundation will celebrate their 30th Anniversary with a concert featuring David Crosby and Graham Nash, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Los Lobos, and host Wavy Gravy as well as surprise guests. Harmonizing

Graham Nash has been a musician for 47 years, and for almost 40 of them he has traded harmonies with David Crosby. Theirs is a partnership as enduring and artistically rewarding as it is odd.

CROSBYAND NASH POSTPONE UPCOMING TOUR

Management for Crosby & Nash (CN) regrettably announced today that they are forced to postpone the group’s tour of the US that was to have kicked off on March 19 in Shawnee, OK and ended on April 14 in Niagara Falls, NY.

The action was taken because of medical issues that have arisen for member David Crosby. On behalf of CN, manager Donald Miller said, “We deeply regret that the band will not be able to embark on this tour as scheduled. At this time, we thank you for your understanding and the band looks forward to seeing you this fall.”
